Long-running popular bar and restaurant Abbey Road shuttered its Yueyang Lu location (due to impending redevelopment of the area) in 2014 and moved operations around the corner to a pleasant space on Taojiang Lu. There are several indoor areas - one of which comes with big screen TVs showing live sports - and a patio area that makes for a lovely al fresco drinking spot when the weather suits.
Despite the name, Abbey Road's Beatles theme is fairly understated (it's certainly no Kota's Kitchen). Surprisingly, they serve mainly Swiss/German fare, with regular fondue nights (every Tuesday; booking required) and a range of rosti and schnitzels on the menu.
Drinks prices are standard and the atmosphere is relaxed - a good place for a pint or after work drinks.
