Casual Asian fusion eatery from the Sproutworks team doing DIY grain bowls with a variety of awesome flavour options – Thai, Vietnamese, Sichuan, Korean and more.
Big ‘Buddha bowls’ that
you’ll be thinking about on the daily are the name of the game at this new fast-casual eatery from the Kelley Lee empire. It’s a fusion concept combining Asian flavours with Western-style grain bowls and proteins, and
a large-and-in-charge, filling but guilt-free bowl will only run you 65RMB.
First, pick your base: a quinoa-rice blend, kale salad or soba noodles. Then pick your protein (like grilled chicken, tofu or ahi tuna) and pick your style from one of six options, each offering an array of veggies and toppings, zesty sauce combos and mounds of fresh herbs. Example: the Sawadeeka mixes up a Thai-style red curry with sprinkles of peanuts, crispy shallots, papaya slaw
and roasted pumpkin, while
the Vietnamese-style HCMC
is My Jam combines wood ear mushrooms, pickled veggies and julienned carrot and turnip with a tangy, slightly sweet sh sauce. Then there are add-on options like an Onsen egg, avocado and double protein, and you can hit the condiment bar for house-made sauces, herb blends, nut and seed mixes, kimchi and more. It’s in a mall, but don’t let that keep you away.
