Roots and Shoots Shanghai is our city’s branch of the global environmental and conservation organisation founded by renowned primatologist Dr Jane Goodall in 1991. The primary focus is on educational programmes, undertaken through partnerships with schools and other local institutions. In addition to initiatives focused on environmental issues, Roots and Shoots Shanghai also operates programmes that support the education of migrant children and help with care for cancer patients.
