ICYMI: there's a new rap about the Two Sessions and it's, erm, lit?

The propaganda video explains exactly nothing but does mention a number of great scientific and social developments of late

The big planning meeting of the two national-level decision makers is currently taking place in Beijing. For those not in the know, this double conference is the biggest political event of the year, aiming to push forward China's development and current policies.

However, don't take our word for it – just check out this new rap song that will 'awake your acute vision and reduce tension'.

These dope lines don't come courtesy of poorly translated lyrics, but are instead the brainchild of rapper Su Han and his team. The propaganda video explains exactly nothing but does mention a number of great scientific and social developments of late.

It's not the first time politics has gotten intertwined with rap music in a bid to appeal to younger demographics. But this time, it's entirely unclear just who this song is targeted towards. Anglophones? The youth? With hip references to 'current' trends such as Popeye, Ready Player One and Luke Skywalker, we're not sure which demographic they're going for, but, we're weirdly into it.
